The 7th CSI from 24th to 27th March had a nostalgic ambience in the farewell of the ever favourite white miracle, Milton. Sadly, it was the last CSI for this white giant who was hailed with a standing ovation! It was the announcement of Milton’s last participation that led to the reality three days before the event of 28'000 tickets sold! Only 4'000 tickets were available at ticket counters at Hallenstadion. Another CSI with a new recording of 36'800 spectators! Prize money of 600'000 Sfr and an increase in the budget to 4 million Sfr.

"Go West", the slogan of this year’s program. 4 days of Wild West. Country & western star Kris Kristofferson & national stars, John Brack & Jeff Turner performed alongside French professional stunt group "Hasta Luego". General manager of Hallenstadion, Werner Benz commented: "We are witnessing an event of a very special class!" Other prominent visitors like Fredy Knie joined this statement with a comment: "It is pleasing to see this course built for the horses, in the past, high barriers with 2,30 mtr walls were built. Fortunately this is not the case with CSI."
