The main attraction at this show was once again The Royal Household Cavalry, the mounted life-guards of the Queen - last time seen at CSI in 1995 - when they delighted the audience with their perfect proficiency. This year the Royal Household Cavalry dedicated their presentation to Hans-Heinrich Isenbart, the German sports broadcaster who celebrated his 80th birthday on February 5. It was the 10th CSI event that he lead through commentary with utmost expertise. This horse guru's life was devoted to the historical and cultural significance of the horse & he was honoured for this.

The Scottish bagpipe group had been another highlight at this CSI. The "SkyDance" ensemble with 50 participants from 6 nations, enchanted the audience. The team was lead by the superstars from "Lord of the Dance" and "Riverdance", with the soloists Conor Smith (twice world champion) and Catherine Collens.

With 14 of the top 20 equestrians (world ranking list), all 4 international title holders and 15 Swiss equestrians, this 16th CSI had once again achieved the success it deserved as best ranked indoor showjumping tournament in the world.

The Credit Suisse Grand Prix (Thursday night), the Mercedes Swiss Masters (Friday night) and the Classics (Sunday afternoon) and the horse changing challenge - 4 superb highlights that added to the success of CSI Zurich.
