CSI number 19 (January 25 - January 28): "Magic Horse Art".
"We could always present world class showjumping at CSI - but this year we had our "Las Vegas in Zurich"! Co President of CSI Rolf Theiler expressed with passion! The redirection of the prize money resulted in a doubling of points for the world ranking. At all challenges the equestrians were fighting to win!

Magic Art at 19th CSI
For 43'600 spectators this year's event proved it's international flair & the power of attraction. On Friday 50 horse-riding tour operators and FEI representatives attended the event together with the President of FEI Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.

4 of 5 equestrians participating in the jumpoff of the Mercedes Classics were Swiss riders Daniel Etter, Pius Schwizer, Beat Maendli and Markus Fuchs - The winner was Markus Fuchs, Geir Gulliksen from Norway took 2nd place. Markus Fuchs, most successful equestrian of this CSI 2007 in addition could win the Credit Suisse Gold Cup. For the first time at CSI a dressage Grand Prix captivated the audience on Sunday. The winner was multiple Olympic Champion Isabell Werth from Germany.

The show created a sensation. The world-famous magician Peter Marvey gripped the spectators with his magic. 5 horses in a truck lost in view from one side to the next, a coach soaring around the Hallenstadion. The audience was enthused by the french theatre "Théâtre du Centaure" who brought to life the greek mythology. Houch ma Houch humoured the audience, the Ukrainean played the role of the magician's apprentice but the spectators appreciated his humor more than his magic art ;-). CSI went international. A Japanese broadcasting team accompanied Peter Marvey with a camera team and parts of the show were presnted on Japanese Television.
The new location of the exposition together with the warmup area and lounge was well approved and accepted by the audience. The public utilised this chance for closer contact with the stars of the show, the horses!
