The 26th event presents a journey around the world making stops in Russia, the Middle East, various European countries and the USA. The unique blend of elite sports and entertaining trials, the program diversity and the professionally staged show, and last but not least the CSI expo with lots of attractions, know how to thrill.
Around the World
The show presents a journey around the world. From the breathtaking Cossack spectacle to the Arabian horses and camels from the Middle East. With the action-packed Hungarian postal service, Pegasus the flying horse from Greek mythology, the fascinating French liberty dressage as well as traditional Spanish horse dancing using the garrocha. All rounded off with cowboys, Indians and an incredible fire show.
Six Swiss riders are set
Six Swiss riders are set for a starting place in the Mercedes-CSI, namely the EM team including substitutes, Steve Guerdat, Pius Schwizer, Paul Estermann, Janika Sprunger as well as Christina Liebherr. In addition, Martin Fuchs has secured himself a starting place in Zurich with his performance at the Young Riders European Championships. One or two riders could qualify for the Mercedes-CSI in Zurich at CSI Basel.

Lerchpartner.ch takes over the patronage for the knockout and provides on Saturday great evening mood. The Canton of Zurich recognises achievements at junior level and in popular sports as well international orientation and supports Mercedes-CSI financially. With immediate effect the Swiss Laureus foundation is the event’s charity partner.
